Stress!!!
especially physical stress, like not getting enough sleep.Or having a bad cold.
But also you may not have taken/used the medications for long enough. So the bugs (yeasts or bacteria) can become resistant, fewer of them die in the next lot of treatment, and more remain alive to come back again.
Ask your doctor for a double dose of a different formulation medicine and keep using it until it's all finished.

good luck

<a href="http://www.yeastinfectionsremedy.com/candida-symptoms/symptoms-of-candida/">symptoms of candida</a>

It could be that you have been treated for a UTI with antibiotics and this will cause an imbalance in the normal vaginal flora and thus make you more prone to candida (yeast) infection. Yeast infections are commonly associated with antibiotic use.

Diabetes can also be a cause even if you do not think you are eating a lot of sugars in your diet. Have your doctor check your blood sugar level. Stress raises the cortisol levels which also has an effect on your blood sugars. Eat more yogurt and cut out any starchy foods or sugared foods such as pasta, rice, potatoes, breads, colas, deserts, etc. and see if it makes any difference. If you get some UTI's sometimes these can be cured with an OTC medicine called CYSTEX if taken for several days around the clock as directed. It used to be a Rx medicine but is now sold OTC. When it gets to the urine, it forms formaldehyde which kills the bacteria. It also has some asprin in it which helps the discomfort. It is the only medicine I know of that really kills the bacteria. It is hard to find, and usually sells out as soon as they get it on the drugstore shelves, so if you don't see it, ask your pharmacist.

Sometimes with an autoimmune disease such as lupus or MS or HIV you tend to get more UTI's and also yeast infections. Diabetes can also be an autoimmune disease. A thyroid disorder can also alter your immune system and make you more prone to infection. Also, lack of vitamin D has been linked to diseases of the immune system. Too much Vitamin D pills is also toxic to your nervous system. Fibroid tumors on the uterus can sometimes cause more UTIs by inhibiting full emptying of the bladder. Also, sexually active women tend to have more UTI's due to irritation of the urethra during ***. Yeast infections can be passed back and forth if both partners are not treated.

Re: the yeast infection. If you are sexually active/have a partner, you want to make sure that the both of you are treated. Otherwise you will just be passing it back and forth and you will never get rid of it. Also, eating yogurt can help. I am not sure about the UTI's, but make sure that you *** after ***********. It helps get rid of any lingering bacteria. Hope that helps...
